Muhammad Zakaria Suleman

Muhammad is an Advocate at the Durban Bar. He is a Mail and Guardian Top 200 Young South African; Brightest Young Mind; and Know India Programme travel scholarship recipient. He is a former Fellow and junior researcher at public interest NGO SECTION27, and former research clerk for Justices Theron and van der Westhuizen at the Constitutional Court. Zakaria has published his writing in both academic journals and popular media. He is passionate about constitutionalism and ensuring the gains of democracy are enjoyed by all.

Brian Liggett

Brian has ten years’ experience working with rural Community Based Organisations in KZN. He completed undergraduate studies in Human Geography and postgraduate in rural development which led him to pioneering the Network Action Group office and its many programmes over the last 9 years. He was a founding member of Siyavuna.org.za and Siyakwazi.org and sits on many government forums. He has knowledge and experience of working with government with extensive networks within social development in KZN, Eastern Cape and at National level.

Duduzile Felicity Mkhize

Duduzile holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work obtained at the University of Zululand, She worked with the Department of Social development from 2006 and 2015 where she was exposed to all fields that are related to development. During her time as a social worker, she specialized in restorative justice programmes. Currently, she is working for NAG with special focus on Policy and Youth development. She carries with her a vast expertise in social work and a deep desire to protect the most vulnerable in our society.

Nokukhanya Nkatha

Nokukhanya is an attorney and director of Khanya Nkatha Attorneys based in Durban. She holds an LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal and served her articles with the Legal Resources Centre Durban Office. Prior to working as an attorney, Nokukhanya worked as a Forensic Investigator for NMK Forensics. She is resilient, believes in the accessibility of justice for all and dedicated to the empowerment of affected persons.
